A material used for post-war reconstruction, particularly in Germany, wood cement has been proving its worth for over 75 years. Produced since 1945 in Belgium, near Charleroi, Fixolite's wood-cement blocks met European environmental standards before their time. The carbon trapped in the block via the wood chips provides a carbon-neutral building material, with thermal and acoustic performances that are ideal for the construction of collective buildings and popular with the residential sector.
