Allerdings kann die Herstellung von Glaswolle sehr energieintensiv sein.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Expandiertes Polystyrol (EPS)<\/strong> EPS ist ein sehr wirksames Isoliermaterial, aber seine Herstellung erfordert Kohlenwasserstoffe und setzt Treibhausgase frei. Es ist nicht biologisch abbaubar, kann aber recycelt werden. Als Nebenprodukt von Erd\u00f6l ist es sehr kosteng\u00fcnstig und verursacht keine \u00d6lf\u00f6rderung.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Steinwolle<\/strong> Steinwolle hat einen \u00e4hnlichen CO2-Fu\u00dfabdruck wie Glaswolle. Sie wird aus Basaltgestein und recycelten Industrier\u00fcckst\u00e4nden hergestellt, was ihren CO2-Fu\u00dfabdruck verringern kann.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Holzfaser<\/strong> : Holzfaserd\u00e4mmstoffe werden allgemein als D\u00e4mmstoffe mit einem geringen CO2-Fu\u00dfabdruck angesehen, da sie aus erneuerbaren Materialien hergestellt werden und eine gute D\u00e4mmwirkung haben.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Schafwolle<\/strong> : Schafwolle ist ein nat\u00fcrliches und erneuerbares D\u00e4mmmaterial, das einen relativ geringen CO2-Fu\u00dfabdruck hat. Allerdings kann die Schafzucht zu Treibhausgasemissionen beitragen, was ber\u00fccksichtigt werden muss.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Expandierter Kork<\/strong> : Kork ist ein nat\u00fcrliches, erneuerbares D\u00e4mmmaterial mit einem geringen CO2-Fu\u00dfabdruck. Au\u00dferdem nehmen Korkb\u00e4ume CO2 auf, wenn sie ihre Rinde nachwachsen, was dazu beitragen kann, Emissionen auszugleichen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Zellulosewatte<\/strong> : Zellstoffwatte wird aus recyceltem Papier hergestellt, wodurch sie einen geringen CO2-Fu\u00dfabdruck hat. Au\u00dferdem hat sie eine gute D\u00e4mmwirkung und ist am Ende ihres Lebens biologisch abbaubar.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Es ist auch wichtig zu beachten, dass der CO2-Fu\u00dfabdruck eines D\u00e4mmstoffs nicht das einzige Kriterium f\u00fcr die Auswahl sein sollte.
